This opportunity involves

  • Working alongside Finance colleagues to prepare monthly, consolidated management accounts ensuring that all variances have been highlighted and produced in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Supporting non-financial stakeholders in understanding financial data.
  • Enabling productive FP&A business partnering through analysis of spending and financial performance.
  • Supporting the annual budget and in year reforecast process, including production of analysis for use in reports and presentations to the Board.
  • Updating, improving and maintaining key elements of the group planning model.
  • Working with the wider finance team to support the correct segmentation of financial data.
  • Ad-hoc financial modelling and analysis.
  • Maximise use of technology for reporting and share best practice across the organisation.

Essential skills or experience

  • Finalist or newly qualified level (study support and membership fees available).
  • Motivated, pro-active individual who will apply themselves to this new role and who is keen to demonstrate their abilities.
  • Excellent Excel & spreadsheet skills.
  • A real passion for FP&A and business partnering.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Prior experience in production of consolidated monthly management accounts.
  • In depth understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.
