This opportunity involves
- Working alongside Finance colleagues to prepare monthly, consolidated management accounts ensuring that all variances have been highlighted and produced in an accurate and timely manner.
- Supporting non-financial stakeholders in understanding financial data.
- Enabling productive FP&A business partnering through analysis of spending and financial performance.
- Supporting the annual budget and in year reforecast process, including production of analysis for use in reports and presentations to the Board.
- Updating, improving and maintaining key elements of the group planning model.
- Working with the wider finance team to support the correct segmentation of financial data.
- Ad-hoc financial modelling and analysis.
- Maximise use of technology for reporting and share best practice across the organisation.
Essential skills or experience
- Finalist or newly qualified level (study support and membership fees available).
- Motivated, pro-active individual who will apply themselves to this new role and who is keen to demonstrate their abilities.
- Excellent Excel & spreadsheet skills.
- A real passion for FP&A and business partnering.
- Comfortable working with large data sets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with financial and non-financial stakeholders.
- Prior experience in production of consolidated monthly management accounts.
- In depth understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes.
