The 2026 UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services ™ list was revealed this morning by Great Place To Work® UK, recognising environmental consultancy Cura Terrae among the list of organisations in the large category.

Cura Terrae’s employees anonymously reported a significant improvement in overall satisfaction and workplace culture, with employee feedback highlighting effective leadership, a strong sense of community, and team camaraderie as key factors that make it a great place to work.

Some of the 2025 initiatives that have contributed to this improved workplace culture include: investment in new premises and systems, increased recognition, celebrating achievements and special events, and an enhanced benefits package to further support colleagues.

Anonymous staff feedback included:

“The culture here is outstanding, everyone looks out for one another and cares about each other. I believe the company tries to bring the best out of their employees. Personal development and career conversations are had often to try and get employees to engage and to create a successful career path.”

“It has retained the small business interactions despite company growth, always welcoming and inclusive, with an open healthy culture.”

“I enjoy the flexibility. I feel we hire diverse people and celebrate success. The company works in an interesting space bettering the environment.”

The Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™ list is created using the anonymous feedback from employees working in the industry about their workplace experience. These firms cover a diverse range of knowledge intensive roles, from legal services to management consultancy, engineering, marketing and advertising, telecoms, real estate, recruitment, and travel management to name a few.

Great Place To Work® UK administered their research-backed Trust Index© employee survey and analysed the responses of UK-based consulting and professional services employees to determine the Best Workplaces™ list.  The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

We’re proud to be recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting and Professional Services™ for the second-year running. This year’s results show improvements across four key areas, with a particularly strong 79% score for camaraderie reflecting the strength of our relationships and sense of community. Since forming in 2022, we’ve worked hard to create an inclusive culture where every new starter feels welcome, valued and connected. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made and will continue listening, learning and building an even stronger employee experience.

Vicky Fearnley, Chief People Officer at Cura Terrae
