Cura Terrae recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™!

The 2025 UK’s Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services ™ list was revealed this morning by Great Place To Work® UK, recognising Cura Terrae among the list of organisations in the Large and Super Large category.

Cura Terrae is a group of environmental companies with a focus on real and long-term sustainability, robust governance, and having a positive impact across communities and wider society.

At Cura Terrae, we are proud of our Giving Back Scheme which encourages flexible volunteering and charity fundraising by our company’s individuals, our matched fundraising for our Charity of the Year, fostering camaraderie and purpose, and our commitment to developing and taking care of an inhouse group of Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs). With over 20 MHFAs to support wellbeing and offer help when needed, and a growing Diversity and Inclusion Forum, employees can expect to feel part of a community.

The Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™ list is created using the anonymous feedback from employees working in the industry about their workplace experience. These firms cover a diverse range of knowledge intensive roles, from legal services to management consultancy, engineering, marketing and advertising, telecoms, real estate, recruitment, and travel management to name a few.

Great Place To Work® UK administered their research-backed Trust Index© employee survey and analysed the responses of UK-based consulting and professional services employees to determine the Best Workplaces™ list.  The surveys asked employees to comment on how their company supports their work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, job satisfaction, psychological safety and financial security. Evaluations also included an assessment of how well the organisation was able to deliver consistency of their employee experience across all departments and seniority levels.

Analysis of the sector employee survey responses found:

  • 87% of employees at the UK’s Best Workplaces for Consulting & Professional Services say “Taking everything into account, I would say this is a great place to work” compared to 69% at a typical company in this sector.

We’re proud to be officially certified as a Great Place to Work! This recognition reflects the positive environment our team helps create every day. As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to supporting our employees, listening to their feedback, and continuing to make Cura Terrae a place where people can thrive, innovate, and grow.

Victoria Fearnley - Head of People
